One in five falls causes broken bones or head injuries that limit senior’s ability to do the activities of daily life and prevent them from living safely on their own. Furthermore, 25% of the people that fall do not to tell their doctor about the fall, thereby doubling their chance of falling again. However, most falls can be prevented. Through training and experience, we have learned that fall prevention training is the most important step seniors can take to create and maintain a safer life. Fall Prevention Programs helps seniors modify and change their fall risk factors thus, decreasing the number of falls and eliminating the fear factor of falling.
